since i have been able to do anything worth posting.

a few words have flowed freely from my fingers, a few sketches have made their way to paper, some paint has been brushed on canvas and carpet alike.

this year my mind has been opened to so much i couldnt begin to explain. it has been invigorating and exhausting all at the same time.

i'm ready to move on, though. i'm ready for classes to end, and a new year to begin. a new year that holds promises that i wish i could grasp.

the hardest drawing ive ever attempted...

mostly because its a personal picture (one of my grandparents)
and i need to get everything right haha

and i feel like im giving them too many wrinkles or making them look too young and unreal. very confusing..

i actually finished. with only 3 days worth of work i drew something decent

unfortunately i chose a relatively difficult picture to draw ... oops.. . it was the only good one! lets hope it turns out ok and that i actually complete it.

all the artwork i have seen lately has been fantastic! sorry ive been lacking in the fav/collecting department but that doesnt mean i dont think you are all amazing artists

i have been working on a couple more drawings but ive been so busy with school and my book (which is kinda not that good but writing it makes me happy even if i choose to never publish)

thats all really.

hope everyones 2009 is as filled with hope as mine!
